Dried salted codfish is a product with long manufacturing traditions in Oman, dating back to the early 1900s. It is a well established traditional product in Middle East and East Asian areas.
The most commonly used fish is mackerel (indian and horse) but as seafood squid, shrimps, octopus and cuttle fish are the best selling products in Oman. We are fishing, processing, supplying and exporting frozen seafood products from Oman.

SQUID
Like octopus and cuttlefish, squid are a type of cephalopod, Greek for “head foot.” Behind the animal’s head is a soft, elongated mantle: a muscular space containing its organs. It is rich in unsaturated fat. Thanks to its mild taste, it goes well with a number of sauces and spices. Its tough consistency can be made softer if it is placed in the freezer shortly before preparing.
CUTTLE FISH
Despite their name, cuttlefish are not fish but intelligent invertebrates related to the octopus, squid, and nautilus. These fascinating creatures can count, exert self-control, and have numerous wily tactics to evade predators, including creating their own body double from a cloud of ink.

SHRIMPS
Shrimp occur in all oceans—in shallow and deep water—and in freshwater lakes and streams. Many species are commercially important as food.
